I’m sure you’ve seen wall stickers at your local craft or home store. But, if you’ve tried them, you may have been disappointed with the fact that they peeled off the wall in no time. Or, when you wanted to change the look, they were so difficult to remove. This was my frustration too when I decided to create Wall Slicks, wall decals. You might be surprised to learn that not all wall stickers are the same.

Plastic Doesn’t Lay Well
Stiff plastic is a poor quality of material to use for a decal because it cannot lie well on your wall surface and in turn cannot stick. Also the adhesive associated with decals of this kind leave a sticky residue behind on your surface when you want to remove it.

Paper is Tough to Remove
Paper based decals will lay better, but ultimately are harder to remove because they leave not only residue but also bits of paper behind. In addition, adhesive paper is only available in white, so every decal will have a white background. This will make the decal stand out from the wall looking like a sticker as opposed to having a professionally designed image that appears to be painted on, like a stencil.

Vinyl is the Answer!
